Quick Video!

So, here is just a fast post that I am putting up so that Seth can see his little man Ollie go NUTS on the pillow I sent him for Valentine's Day. Enjoy!!!

For Daddy...

Hi Daddy! I just wanted to show you what I have been up to these past couple of weeks since you have been gone:-) Here I am in my new pajamas from Auntie Boo Bear flashing Mommy and Grandma my lady killer smile. Works like a charm, especially when I am being naughty...

I had to show you the cool non-skid bottoms of the feet on my new jammies! They are so cool! I don't fall in the kitchen anymore...(Except when I am faking it because I want Grandma to get me something sweet;-)

And here I am in my new snow suit.... I plan on killing Mommy for this later, but she insists that it is adorable. (Yeah, sure, and when I start grade school I am gonna get my trash kicked when my friends see this picture)

Here I am at that sweet CD case/tower of awesomeness! I can pull all of the drawers out and dump out ALL the alphabetized CDs before Mommy or Grandma even knows where I have gone. (No small feat considering I am the size of an elephant and am BRIGHT RED!)

My first time in the snow! I wasn't quite sure what to think of it....

But then it kinda grew on me...

And now I am pretty sure I LOVE it!!!

Below are a couple of videos Mommy took of me to show you how good at walking I have become. I really can cruise now and barely crawl at all, except when I am escaping the Evil Vacuum Cleaner...*Shudder*

And yes, Mommy did video me walking in the snow suit. Seriously Dad, I need you to come home to protect me from her ideas of what is "cute". I really don't want to get atomic wedgies every time I walk down the hall.

Welp, I hope you enjoyed that last one Daddy, because once Mommy isn't looking I am deleting it from ALL record.... That is just between us though, okay? I miss you so much Daddy and am so proud that you are serving our country and are such a wonderful towel wrapper when I get out of the tub...(Mommy stinks at it!) Mommy and I are counting down the days to when we get to see you again (168 as of today:-) and I want you to know that I love you very very VERY much! I'll write soon!

Our New Years Surprise!!!

Welp, if you can't tell from the little ticker up in the right hand corner, our New Years surprise was that we found out that we were:

GOING TO HAVE ANOTHER BABY!!!

HOLLA!!!

For those of you who do not know, this was indeed the best news EVER! Seth and I really wanted to get prego before he deployed, and Bada Bing! My man delivered! We found out we were pregnant on New Years Eve and confirmed it on New Years day with two more tests right before he left for Qatar. We are estimating that I am about 4 weeks along, but can't be too sure since I have not yet had any ultrasounds or doctors appointments. We also realize that we did not wait the standard 12 weeks to tell everyone, but I could not help myself! We are very thankful to our Heavenly Father for blessing us with another baby, especially one that is timed so perfectly between deployments. Deployment

For those who didn't know, I am deploying today.

Here is the latest update. I am currently sitting in the Norfolk Naval Station Air Terminal, waiting to head out. My plane departs at 1000 this morning to Qatar by way of Maine, and then Germany. Hopefully, I will be to my final destination by the 4th.

I will be doing base maintenance and construction in the CE squadron at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. Not sure what exactly my job will entail, but I am looking forward to it regardless!

The Tiki Room Room!!!

So about four months ago, I blogged about how I was going to be finally decorating Oliver's nursery. Welp, I finished his nursery a good two months ago, but am just now getting to posting the finished product. Here you can go through the pictures and see the various stages of his room going from boring to totally tropical. Hope you enjoy!
Here we see the room in its boring white state. Poor Ollie had to sleep in this dreary room for a

year before it took on its cool green tone.This is after I painted the walls green. Let me tell you, I could never be a house painter! Painting the walls was the worst part!

Here you can see Tangaroa come to life. Overall, painting Tangaroa was my favorite part of decorating Ollie's nursery But, the Tiki Room would not be complete without my good friends Jose, Michael, Pierre, and Fritz. These guys took FOREVER, but I love each of them dearly and will be able to take them with us when we move.

So there you go folks! The nursery is now complete and I am taking a break from any wall murals until we move to our next house:-)
